I graduated from high school in 1983. I started working at the Miramichi Animal Hospital in September of 1989. I love animals and when the opportunity arose to work at a vet clinic I was excited to start.
I joined the Waterview Animal Hospital when the two vet hospitals in Miramichi joined forces to become one larger hospital to be able to serve owners and their pets with the most updated equipment and the knowledge of three wonderful doctors. This happened in 1998.
I am interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine but I do like to observe ultrasounds. My favourite thing about our clinic would have to be the people that I work with. We have all worked together for a long time and we respect each other and get along well. We have fun at our job and not a lot of people can say that. I also love to see new puppies and kittens coming in with their new owners and it is nice to build a relationship with new patients.
My first pet was a cat.
A fun fact about myself? It would be how much I love doing crafts and spending time with my granddaughters.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 4, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Our "closed waiting room" policy will continue, with 1 client allowed to enter the hospital per appointment. Upon arrival, please call the hospital at 506.622.2355 to let us know that you have arrived. We will inform you if the veterinarian is ready for your appointment. If not, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle or outside until we are ready.
Please bring a mask/facewear to your appointment.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands with our automatic dispenser upon entering the hospital.
Credit cards and debit cards are the preferred methods of payment.
Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on "Online Store".
3. OPERATING HOURS
We are OPEN with the following hours:
- Monday and Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
- Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
