Dog Urinalysis and Fecal Exam
Our hospital is able to perform a number of laboratory tests such as urinalysis and fecal examinations all with same day results. Fecal examinations are ideally performed on a yearly basis.
Why are canine fecal exams performed yearly?
We recommend yearly fecal examinations in order to properly diagnose and treat the possibility of internal parasites. Pets can easily pick up parasites with their foraging habits. Most, but not all intestinal parasites are killed with routine deworming.
If my dog’s urine test reveals a urinary tract infection, what can I do?
